I was about to go in to my bathroom when I saw water running from underneath my 2nd bthrm door where my stand up shower and toilet are when I ran to shut the water off to my mobile home. I threw every towel and blanket in sight to soak it up before any damage was done. Me or my husband no anything about plumbing! But er have had a problem with water/septic smell water streaming from the front of our home we had to take the skirting off slit a hole in it to drain it (instructions from landlord) but there was no water gushing out it was absorbed into the insulation. (While this has been going on for the past 2 weeks) now there is a water overflow in my home! Earlier this day the toilet had been flushed and started to rise to the top then about a min later sucked itself down like there was a shop vac on the other end! Then later on the dishwasher disposal stopped workin(which I had cleaned a fish tank out the night before and lost quite a few pebbles dwn the drain) and had used it earlier this day so... I don't know but the stand up shower had blackish LAUNDRY smelling water in it and it was there all night so I borrowed a shop vac and sucked it up the next morn while not using any appliances all day (and with 4 kids) almost impossible. But if possible if someone could explain to me what I could do I would rather than call a plumber because I know they are out to make a buck and lately I've been short on those due to slow to no work for my husband we almost need a handout right about now. Please if someone could help any suggestions wld be greatly appreciated!

O.K, slow down, take a deep breath, put the kids to bed, have a cup of coffee, then come back and answer some questions.
The best I can make out is you have a blocked sewer line.
Are you on a septic system or a municipal sewer system.
Was the water coming out of and overflowing the shower or was it coming from underneath the toilet.
When the sewer water (I am assuming right now that it was sewer water) was coming from underneath the mobile home, did you attempt to find out where it was coming from. You said the insulation was wet, that makes me suspect that it was coming from around a toilet.
Do toilets now flush O.K.
What do you mean by dishwasher disposal?
From now on take the fish tank out side to clean it.

Thanks hkstroud for your help to answer those questions:
Its municipal sewer
It's the drains from the shower& tub on both ends of the trailer.
No... but called maintnance guy and he said
There wasn't a leak because this red dial thug on the water box outside wld be spinning and it is not. But from a main sewer pipe (pvc) along underneath.
No they rise to the top till I shut the water off.
My husband claims the dishwasher disposal has nothing to do with it and that I'm confusing the story!
We are a young couple just moved into this mobile home park and we are working on buying it:( now which all these problems are going on not so sure if we made a good decision because if were already experiencing problems like this makes me wonder what else could be wrong!
