Well okay I watched this movie well over 10 years ago so it should be an 80's or 90's film. Its about a kid new to a school that makes friends with the dark crowd sort of like Goths. The group was quite odd and reckless, they didn't have much remorse and they persuaded him to do things of their nature. The group of kids always wore black clothing. It was like he was joining their cult. I hope I've been a bit helpful.

Black Circle Boys (1997)
Starring Scott Bairstow, Eric Mabius, Tara Subkoff
IMDb synopsis:
All-American boy Kyle is the newest initiate of the Black Circle Boys, an underworld society of gothic groupies whose primary interests are creating mayhem and studying the occult. By the time he realizes he's in over his head, it may be too late.
IMDb review:
The movie shifts into Kyle's new life in a new town and school. It becomes a traditional juvenile delinquency teen pic, throwing trite plot elements seen in most similar films from "Rebel Without a Cause" to "The Craft". Inevitably, Kyle falls in with the bad kids, which in this case is a group of headbanging metal thrashers who call themselves the Black Circle Boys. Leader Shane is uncompromising, sociopathic, and slitheringly persuasive. Kyle finds himself uncontrollably immersed in dangerous occult rituals and violent antisocial escapades.
