Is it possible to do searches and find out if people have a criminal record without them knowing. Its for my own personal use and I know you have to pay to do this but I do not want the person to know I have been getting information about the? Thanks.

No.
Due to numerous data protection laws you need the person permission to conduct such searches, unless you are in law enforcement or the military.

Yes, it's possible and it varies by State and Country. Where are you?

Why you want to know is a factor - at least it is when I'm asked to do a search.

Oh... that link speaks volumes. I sense a revenge motive behind it.. Hopefully I'm wrong about that. Because its almost stalking...

I posted first, checked second - several threads border on stalking.

No its not related. Im in the u.k in Kent. No suspiscious reason, job related, and security related to my job. A person is known who might be a threat to security and I want to be sure first before putting an opinion in , in case I am wrong. Thank you.

If this is job related then your company should have a process in place to vet people they do business with. There are Private investigation firms that can do this discreetly. I suggest you check your local phone directory under Private Investigations.

P.S. given your previous threads, it was a natural and valid question to ask if they were linked.
