I was biking around with my friends and I stopped to talk to this guy I know. He is my crush. I talking to him, I don't remember what about but out of the blue he said " those shorts are little short don't u think? I laughed a bit and sai they were a little short then pulled them down a bit so they would be longer. Then I asked him if that was better and he said yes. Why did he point out how short my shorts were?

Maybe thinking about your modesty... if a buttcheek was sticking out. Outside of him obviously looking at your butt, its hard to say WHAT he meant by it.

Maybe he was just being a gentleman and wanted to let you know that you shouldn't be riding around on your bike with too short shorts. He may have wanted to protect you.

Maybe he's not a fan of the type of clothing (short shorts, tight tops, mini skirts that barely cover your butt), that some girls wear. It's considered a pretty trashy look by most people, and it sounds like he's not a fan.

He is always making comments about my boobs and looking at them and stuff like that

I know that my butt wasn't hanging out of them because I don't buy shirts like that. And even if I wanted shorts like that my parents would never let me get them

Why would he have wanted to protect me?

How old is this boy ? But first he was looking at that area and not because of the idea of the shorts. Most likely he does not want others looking at it, to protect you from others having sexual feelings about your skin showing

So you're just naturally dense, but it's not deliberate. Got it.

Well thanks for your helpful answer. It's nice to get help from such a nice person. Have you ever thought that maybe I just don't know? Because for your information that is the case. I'm not the dense one here it's you for not being helpful to someone and realizing that maybe I just don't know. Plus I can't be naturally dense I'm not blonde.

Because they were short to begin with and if they ride up it makes me feel slutty.

The answer is simple. Your shorts were too short, he noticed and commented on it, so buy longer shorts.
I don't understand why this is so difficult to figure out.

When you cycle the motion tends to draw the shorts up. That's one of the reasons cycling shorts are designed the way they are.
