Can anyone inform me on just how to convert my new frigidaire stationary dishwasher to a portable dishwasher?

I have done this before, I did it once by taking an old dishwasher out of the portable shell and replacing it with a new built-in model. It worked beautifully, although I had never done it before. As long as you have the outer shell it's no problem. I had to change the hoses from the portable to the built in model and use the plug and cord, too. It's real easy to do as long as you are mechanically inclined.

Biggest problem is finding an old DW shell to put over the built in model. Otherwise, you will have insulation, wiring and piping all hanging out. Plus, you will ned to adapt the water intake to allow a faucet connection. Sell the old DW on Craigslist and buy a portable one.
