I have been in a long distance relationship for 7 months with a woman I am in love with. She lives in LA,Cali and me in Fort Worth,Tx and we see each other about twice a month. She works for American Airlines so she can fly free. We have been on some nice trips and really enjoy the times we spend together. She takes off a couple of Saturdays a month in order to come into town. She has to work extra hours in order to make up for the missed Saturday and a few missed hours on Wednesday when she flies into town. She has told me as of late that she can't keep working 10 days in a row and so many hours because it is taking a toll on her. She told me I need to give her some money so she can have her regular days off so she doesn't have to work so hard. I have offered to fly there and pay for my own flights so we don't waste the free passes so can go to nice places. She said that me not offering to give her money so she could take off shows her I don't care about her. I told her I would help if she woulkd just ask but I would let her borrow the money because that seems a little more proper than me just giving it to her and she got upset at me. She is so upset she said that I don't care about her and I couldn't love her at all. Am I missing something , should I give her money to help her until she can get here , I am so confused and I don't want to lose her. I asked her if I was broke and ddidn't have a little extra money what would she do then and she said she would probably break up because she couldn't handle just seeing me once a month.Do you think she seems a little greedy or am I really missing the point?

This ones hard because of the point of view. She could really love you and want to see you, making her appear greedy, or she could just be a scam artist. It's really hard to say in today's society.

Tread lightly on this topic. You need to really ask yourself if it's worth it. This might be the point in the relationship where you talk about moving, whether apart or together.

In a strictly practical sense, if she can fly for free and you have to pay, who wouldn't let her continue to fly for free and you give her the price you would pay for a ticket?
Plus, I don't know about these days, but in the old days flight attendants usually crowded together into small apartments because no one was ever there all at the same time. Do you even know her living situation?
And finally... after 7 months many people in a relationship are starting to wonder how long the LD part is going to last... have you even talked about living together? Obviously a flight attendant can move easily.
