When I was younger I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis in 2005 I had my first spinal surgery because my curves were so severe that my rib cage had twisted, they put in 2 metal rods and fused it in place, and in 2008 I had another surgery because from where I was so young I was still going through growth spurts at the time and the rod had bent into my spine, well I continued to see a specialist on my back until I was 18 yrs old, and they said that everything looked fine, and that I could continue with normal daily activities. Well on August 15th 2012 I found I I was about 5 weeks pregnant, and over the past few months I have started having some problems with my back, I'm just afraid that with having scoliosis as severe as I did it may harm my pregnancy, so I was wandering how I should go about handling this? And should I be concerned about complications during my pregnancy?
