Hello everyone,

I have started on a diet once again. But this time I think I can do it. I have finally realised that its going to be a life style change not a crash diet. I am however using shakes for lunch until I get down to my BMI. I started about 3 weeks ago and have lost 5kg, this is slowing though to only 1 - 1.5 kgs a week. I weigh 99kgs at present and my BMI is below 75kgs.

Anyway, I would love some healthy meals ideas for dinner. Something that is easy to make, and things kids will like to (not completely neccesary).

I am shocking with knowing what things I can get the best nutrition out of, so please lots of recipes and advice.

Thanks everyone

SEAFOOD SEAFOOD SEAFOOD. All seafood is generally lean and delicious.

Deer meat is very lean and has a wild flavorful taste

Plain Oatmeal flavored with fresh berries.

Skinless grilled chicken breast

Plain rice cakes (tastes like popcorn)
Granola
Green beans(lightly seasoned)
And all your basic veggies ,greens blah blah blah

Top it off with a grape/strawberry/blueberry blend

Ok, in one sentence you said, no fad diet, and in the next you are doing that silly shake for a meal diet.

Next just well balanced meals, fresh veggies ( no canned) and some of the items gamed mentioned.

But increasing activity is also important

Stay away from processed food, instead of a boxed beef mix ( a >>>> helper) use regular noodles and your own spices, you get so much less salt and other chemicals.
Cut out fast foods and soda and sugar drinks.
