Last April my partner of 7 years said she wanted to end our relationship. She said wasn't happy and seemed to reach a crisis point in her life where she needed to turn a new chapter. Upset as I was, I managed to accept the decision and we didn't really have much contact for 3 months. However, this weekend I saw her again for the first time (we live in different countries and I went to collect our son to spend a few weeks with me). Seeing her again has strongly reignited my feelings for her, not helped by the many mixed messages she gave me during my stay, even down to accepting several kisses on the mouth when we parted and telling me she loved me. Another example: this may sound absurd but I took her out shopping and she virtually stripped off in front of me in the changing room, AND was constantly asking questions like "does my body look good?" and "do you like this way I do my hair?". She seemed to want my approval, but I don't know why.
She seems to be mainly keen that we should be friends, yet she deliberately made me see her once again in a sexual light. She also made several references to the possibility of a reunion in the future. Now I don't know whether I should attempt to get her back or not. I want her badly yet I wonder whether she's just playing with my mind (knowing that I won't see her again until December, was this all just an amusing interlude for her?). What is she doing?
