A nice watch that you can engrave or a chain if he would wear one.

Ok I have to ask, a greased pig ?
A man will keep a good wallet for years, ( most do) and many may even keep it for some time after it is worn out, to hold other cards and things in a draw.
Always a great choice

I kept my dad's Coach wallet after he died.. even though I'm a woman and it's a masculine wallet, I use it every day and think of him.
A pig chasing kind of guy might like a tooled belt and a silver buckle. Expensive though. Pewter would be second choice, or brass. But something everyone sees like that is a personal choice, so you could give him a card and a note inside to take him shopping to buy one.
