After 20 years the ladylux decided to spray a narrow hard spray. We have to turn the water on very slowly because it will spray all over the place. The adjustment on top of the Handel still works but I don't have a soft narrow flo any longer and can't get it back. I'm pretty handy what can I do to fix it? Do I need a new cartarage?

Are you talking about the water coming out the spout or does the faucet have a side spray nozzle and you are talking about the water coming out there.

I do NOT have a side spray, the water flow out of the faucet is the problem. Thanks for getting back to me.

I took the faucet apart and the screen was clean, from the diagram that came with the Grohe :Ladlux shows a value at the base of the faucet that adjusts the pressure of the water flow. I can't imagine it would all of a sudden need adjustment after 20 years of usage.

Please post model number or pic of the parts break down.

What happens if the aerator on the end of the spout is not used?
