I have been getting abused all my life and I have decided to try to get emancipated. I have a place to go if I get emancipated where I will be provided for. I am not allowed out of my house. Is there any way I can fill out the papers to file online? I live in Indiana if that helps.

You can't depend on anyone else and live with them for emancipation. You have to be totally self sufficient.

How old are you?

In fact, Indiana has no emancipation statute. Emancipation cases are accepted on individual basis, however, very seldom does the court grant early emancipation rights to a minor. It may nonetheless be possible to convince a juvenile court to grant emancipation where the court finds:

1. The petitioning minor wishes to be free from parental control and protection and no longer requires control and protection;

2. The petitioning minor understands the consequences of being free from parental control and protection

3. The petitioning minor has sufficient money for the child's own support; and

4. The petitioning minor has an acceptable plan for independent living.

Where do you plan to go, what is their relationship with you,
What is your age, and what is the age of the people you want to live with?

And no there are no online forms you will need an attorney. You will need a job to pay all your own bills and money in the bank.

If you are being abused, report it to children services, a teacher at school, and see if you can be taken from the home into foster care for your protection.
