I went to 2 home depots (where I purchased this shower handle), 1 Lowe's, and 2 specialty plumbing stores... received no help :( I just want to replace the weird shaped rubber washers, but can't even find the brand/model.

It appears to me to be a Valley brand faucet. If so, it is discontinued brand. It was off-shoot of Delta faucet - only cartridge looked slightly different. Go to small, Mom 'n' Pop's plumbing supply store. They will ID the brand in a second. Back to you. Milo
