I went in September of 2010 (2 months after having my son) and got the Implanon. Its been almost 2 years now and since getting the Implanon I have always had my peroid every 3 months.I heard that after a year your peroids (IF you still have them by that time) will become a pattern, is this true? I missed my peroid in May, its been 4 months now since I have NOT had it, I been sexualy active and have NOT used a condom or any other device to prevent pregnancy. Since beginning of June, I been getting fatigue, Unable to get myself out of bed at times I feel so exhausted, Severely Dizzy, Feeling bloated, sore ankles, crying fits, feeling sick in the evenings and I noticed I have "Milk" still in my breasts that have become bigger and darker around the nipples and I have a oderless white/cream discharge with NO burning or itching.. I have not been able to eat a lot, I weigh 200 pds, I'm 5'8 and meduim frame. My dr says I am overweight. My first pregnancy went undetected till I was 4 months along and went for bloodwork, my second I was 3 months along when I went for blood work (Even at 6 months, for both pregnancies the home pregnancy tests always said "Negative") Since June I can only eat one meal a day and most foods make me feel like I'm going to be sick. Even soda, Bologna sandwiches and tamatoes I LOVE I can't eat without getting sick! I just want to know is their a chance I might be pregnant? With my first son I barely had any symptoms, with my second it is very similar to what I am experiencing now (Minus the acid reflux) And I just want to know should I go for a test? Thank you!

Of course you might be pregnant. Yes, call and make an appointment with your Doctor.

Why have you waited so long? Have you used any home pregnancy test kits?

I told my dr when the 3 months passed that I didn't have my peroid she said the birth control can do that, side effects can be most of what I am feeling but I want to know why all of a sudden its happening NOW and not when I first got it? I demanded bloodwork and am going today to have it done, But Every time I mention something she says its just the side effects... I didn't know Implanon would have side effects that are similar to pregnancies... true? Nothing is 100% effective.

I'll be interested in the lab results.

If I am not pegnant I will be considering removing the birth control and maybe doing the shot instead? Cause if all this is side effects then screw that! I would rather be pregnant! LoL

Another thing is I can't sleep on my stomach or my side without a pillow between my legs... it hurts... feeling bloated/pressure through out my whole stomach with lower dull back pain and I haven't eating anything today cause I tried eating some pasta, took one bite and feel like I'm going to be sick =(... I tried crackers but that does not even help

The reslts came back and its NEGATIVE =( They are telling me its more than Likely a UTI infection... what should I do now?? I'm starting to feel sick all day and all night...

If it's a UTI you take the antibiotics. We cannot diagnose or prescribe over the internet.

Still awaiting the results... The nurse told me if it comes back negative then I need to call them and get more testing. I have had UTI numerous times, and it was always Burning, itching and smelling associated with severe lower pain and painful urination. I have NONE of these symptoms and I just would like to know could it be?
