I live in the state of Pennsylvania, my office is based in Florida. My work assignments are in different parts of the country. Why does my company report wages earned to Florida not Pennsylvania. Is there anything I can do to have my wages reported to Pennsylvania not Florida. I work for other companies in other states and they reported all my wages to Pennsylvania why is this a problem with the company I work for now

Ask the person who prepares the payroll. I have no idea why it's a problem for them to report your wages to Pennsylvania.
Here is what I find: "Myth 1: I only have to pay income taxes to the state I live in - False. State income taxes apply not only to residents, but also to nonresidents and part-year residents. Most states require that you pay taxes on income you made while living in the state, as well as income earned from sources within that state. That means if you simply made income in a state, but never lived there, you would still owe income taxes to that state as a nonresident." http://taxes.about.com/od/statetaxes/a/state-income-tax-myths.htm
It sounds like the other companies broke the law, not your present employer.

Florida does not have an income tax, so what difference does it make?
