Someone suggested using vinegar on lamenent floors to get rid of pee smells. What do I mix and how much? To wash it down?

Problem is the smell is not on the surface but from urine seeped into the under side material. Use too much water and you will have swelling issues.

I agree with ma0641. I have dogs, and I have laminate floors. There's really no way to get rid of the urine smell other than replacing the flooring that's been urinated on. But the urine only soaks in if it's left for a long time.
How old is the puppy? I have a puppy myself, not fully potty trained. I follow him around, and when he pees in the house I clean it up instantly, with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water, and then swiffer it for good measure.
That's really the only way to keep your floors from smelling like dog pee. You need to be diligent, and watch the puppy.
