I am 15 years old and I have been wanting a cartilage piercing for a really long time now and my mom has one and she said if your dad says its fine then I can get one but he says I won't get a good job. But my aunt does the type of job I'm wanting to do and she has one to and he knows that. But I can't seem to convince him I and old enough and I will get a perfectly fine job. And if I get one it will be a really small stud, not some huge ring or anything and again my mom is perfectly fine with it and I've tried telling him I've done all kinds of research in it... please help I need some people to support me in proving to him I will get a good job please reply fast :)

What to you do... you wait three more years until you are 18 and don't need his permission legally.

Don't wait just try and convince him more! Be really respectful try I'll do anything for you... and all of my friends have them and say that I've done so much research in it and I will take care of it! Also if you try I'll even pay for it... hope this helps! Good luck! And I'm kind of in the same situation I really want to get my cartilage pierced and I'm 13 and all of my friends have it pierced and I haven't yet tried convincing my dad to let me get it pierced but I'm going to try. :)

and all of my friends have them

As a father, I can tell you flat out that saying this is a guarantee for me that you would not get what you want. My daughter has used this line on me numerous times and still hasn't learned that it does not help her argument at all. My answer to this is "you are not them and I am not their father".

all of my friends have them

And as a parent my response would be... If all your friends jumped off a bridge does that mean you have to?
