The motor will not start on its on. I can start the motor by hand. The motor will run both ways but will not start on its on. AcE

I would start by checking the motor run capacitor, or simply replace with exact matching capacitor. Caps are usually between five and thirty dollars, (normally closer to the ten mark for motor caps), so it would be a good place to start. If that doesn't solve the problem, Im guessing you will need a new motor.

The starter Cap was the problem. Then I found a dry roach under the PC board. SHORT... the heating coil was shorting out. I fix the PC board and cleaned the area around the board. AcE Thank you, for your help.
