I. Went to the er recently, by ambulance due to extreme pain in right side. The er staff, one in particular was very angry I couldn't get up and go to restroom for ua. He loudly to anyone who would listen said I was faking it. The Dr. Perscribed pain medicine. The nurse refused to give it until I got up and put on a glen. He threw the gownat me and stomped out returning occasionally to see that I still hadn't. He was angry and continually made fun of me in the er. He finally let someone dress me because someone was going to tour the er. Then my friend showed up and heard the ridicule not knowing it was me at first. He just wanted me out asked the nurse who he thought was my doctor and was told my diagnoisis plus that it was no big deal. I probably ate something.

I would file a complain with the Hospital administration. This was not good treatment. Also telling your friend the diagnosis was probably a HIPAA violation.

You had a right to competent care and privacy. But my question is why are you asking? What is it you want done about your treatment?
