I have plenty of hot water pressue but little to none on the cold. I have changed my gate valves to ball valves and I have removed the cartridge and found nothing visually wrong with it . But can it be the cartridge anyway

? The subject line does not match the posted info. Can you please clarify what you mean by "hot water little cold"? Also, clairify which faucet you are speaking of, and if there are any other plumbing lines affected.
