Assalamualaikum,

I want to ask zakat related question.

I have taken a flat on instalment in 18 50 000 Indian Rs.I have given 500000 Rs out of it as initial payment , remaining amount I have to pay .

I have 10 00000 RS in hand now which I have to give, do I need to pay zakat on it?

I did not own the flat until now.
