I have twenty holes in the side of an amoir which is in the front entry way of my home. A new one evolved yesterday. We are freaked out because it looks like some body got a hold of a drill and drilled the holes. I have no idea what this could have been. Someone said carpenter bees but the beetle may be the culprit. Who do I talk to about this? I am blown away

Carpenter bees make holes 1/2 " in diameter. Little holes, size of an ice pick, are from powder post Beatles. PPB,s are easy to kill by squirting liquid Sevin in the holes will work. Is this an old armoire?
