Neighbor purchased a stale dinner. Made by ConAgra who represents a lot of companies. The girl in consumer Dept. would not refund or even send a coupon (Only $3.00) because the neighbor complained a few years back about a cup cake from a different company. Then the neighbor said “she would contact the CEO of the company”. The girl said she intercedes all the mail address to CEO and she would dump it into the waste basket! Question is there a way to send a letter directly to the CEO without another person opening it beforehand? Like for your eyes only?

It used to be where I worked that a letter marked "Personal" and/or "Confidential" could only be opened by the person it was addressed to.
Boy, customer service is becoming a lost art. I hear stories like that all the time.

I really don't believe that she will open a letter to the CEO marked in the above manner. Anyone who did that where I worked would have been toast. But times are changing-not always for the better.

People who would send personal or confidential mail would have a private address to send it to. So yes his mail is probably screened.

Great Information. I guess "The customer is always right" fell along the roadside.

Look for a home address and send it there - OR send it to the Board of Directors. I think this is a lot of work for a $3.00 refund, but maybe that's just me.
