I am currently living with my parents as I am unemployed and after child support, haven't enough money to live alone. When I file for unemployment, am I required to provide their assets in the application since they aren't applying for any benefits?
Thank you.

Unemployment has nothing to do with assets - it's about whether you can work.

Normally they will want household income, you will need to ask the case worker with who you are applying though

I apologize, that was an error in my original question. I meant to say "when I apply for food stamps", not "unemployment." Thank you.

I know - I read it wrong. FrChuck is right - it's household income.

That would be great, but they don't list anyone on the paperwork to talk to specifically. I guess I could call their toll free number but you can never get through.
