Hi: I am 29 Y old and married for last three years. I am suffering with PCOS. I am having marks on my belly, some lines as well which are obviously PCOS symptoms. I have been getting glucophage tablets alongwith menstrual pills like progluton as my mensis were not regular after marriage. This treatment is currently I am having for PCOS.

In the past three years I have a missed abortion as well in which after 2 months of pregnancy,I started certain bleeding which resulted in missed abortion.(1 year ago).till that day I am using different medicine as prescribed by different doctors but my PCOS symptoms are getting worst and worst.

I have an ultrasound recently which shown Polycystic ovaries inside.Hence I am using progluton to regulate my mensis and glucophage to control PCOS.( prescribed by local doctor of our village.

I am using these medication but my symptoms are getting worst. One day I have some infection on Vagina as well.My body is slightly fat with 58KG weight and slightly overweight.

Can you please advice me some medicine.I want to get rid of PCOS and get pregnant. I am not able to get pregnancy after that time.. My husband is having a good sperm count( tested as well).waiting for reply

Hi there. Unfortunately, you can't "get rid" of PCOS. It's a lifelong condition that can be treated with proper diet, exercise, and medication.

Most doctors prescribe MetFormin to help with sugar issues and some will try to put you on birth control to help regulate your periods (assuming they aren't regulated) however if you are trying to conceive then I would avoid that at all costs. Have you tried going to a fertility specialist?

I have used metformin alongwith period regulating pills but no cure. I have seen many gynacologists to get pregnant but all no results
