Mid thirties. I have noticed that after menstrual cycles my breasts have stayed bigger? Whilst I use to get one week PMS now I get it for 3 weeks and with my breasts increasing in size. They get bigger, then to the last week start to hurt. Then they just stay big? Whilst I tone up and my stomach flattens my breasts seem to be expanding and staying that size? I am not pregnant and do not have a partner. I don' t drink or smoke and I am a very healthy eater. Do women get to a hormonal stage where their bodies just do their own thing? Is it something to do with my delay in periods due to my jogging?

Assuming 6 billion people in the world, 3 billion female, 1 billion of them menstruating, you can probably say that there will be 1 billion differences in their symptoms of hormonal changes, monthly and as we age, in many stages. Some combination of hormones is just prolonging yours. Extreme exercise is well known to affect cycles, including stopping them altogether. So if you are a moderate jogger, it's no surprise that your periods are delayed.

I notice this is your second thread about your breast size -

If you are having 3 weeks of PMS - which pretty much is your whole cycle - you need to see your OB/GYN and ask for help.

So every month your breasts expand, stay that size, expand again next month?

And, yes, extreme physical exercise will affect your menstrual cycle.

Correction - you removed your other thread to conform to the answers.

Yes, you are fixated on your own breasts.
