Me and my girl have been together for about 10 months and I am seriously in love with her. About the last three weeks we have been arguing a lot about stupid small stuff. Last night she broke up with me and then I left and I asked to come back over to just clarify things and she said she wanted to "leave it off" on better terms. So I get to her house and about half way through us talking she said that she doesn't know what she wants anymore. Then I leave her be and I go home and she calls me and we talk and she says again that she can't do this anymore. I asked so are we broken up and she now says she doesn't know and when we ended the conversation on the phone she said she wanted a break to see if we can get closer if not then we are going to break up. What should I do?

A break means No Contact. Absolutely none. No calls, no texting, no emails, no real-time convos. Tell her that is what you will do. Anything other than that is game playing.

Mature couples work through their problems and don't take "breaks" to "figure things out" and "see if they can get closer."

I would leave her alone to figure out what she wants and do my thing and have a great time without her.
