Hello,
I would like to know this.

I have an older eXmark turf Ranger model # TR-22KC serial # 105720 I am certain of these numbers. The engine that was on it, The Kohler CV23s 75524 blew up on it.
I bought a brand new Briggs & straton 44Q7773137G5 27hp to replace it with.
But the plug from the new Briggs engine is different, even the colors of the wires.
The plug that plugs into the eXmark turf Ranger is different.
All I would like to know is, How to connect the mower and engine together to the exmark!

The eXmark has a 5 wire starter switch and it has mower lift up/down switch,
And it has the switch for turning on the clutch for the mower to run, just on/off.
And it has throttle slider. And choke slider. And an hour meter.
The briggs has a 2 wire for the slater, and a 2 wire connect for the clutch.
The briggs has 2 wires for the slater but one is AC and the other is DC.
The eXmark turf Ranger has a four wire connector and the briggs has a six wire connector with only five that have wires. And than all of the other wires that come from the briggs from the main six prong connector.
The kohler plug has just 4 wires on it and the briggs has just 5 wires on it.
If I can find out what wires go to where from the briggs, should'nt I be able to connect them the same way to the eXmark mower? Like it was connected to the Kohler engine? The wires from the briggs has 5 wires to the plug from the Briggs. But than after that they split off to, 1 red & orange 2 prong connector.and from the same red wire is another wire coming out of the same hole with a diode. Than the same red and orange in 2 different holes. From the black wire from the main connector there are 2 wires coming out of the same hole, to 2 blacks and 1 gray 2 prong connector. And on the other side of the same connector is a gray wire.

If you look up both engines, I am sure you will see what I am talking about. And than look up the eXmark mower and see the engine connection.
All I want is this engine connected to the exmark turf ranger mower! With all switchs working. I hope I have not just got you all confused? Thank you very much. Any help at all, and I am very grateful. Loyd...
And the Lord of Lords bless you and yours also.
