A person was sentenced to 180 days in Summit County jail in Ohio. He was to serve his remaining 157 days in the Oriana House in Akron, with restrictions. He walked out of the Oriana House today - the day that he was transported there by SCJ. This is "escape" correct? What kind of sentencing do they give for such an offense?

This is normally considered escape and there will be a warrant and new charges.

Most likely get to serve the max of the first crime at a much more secured facility, and could well be several more year sentence. Sometimes if they turn theirself in that day or the next the courts will treat it lighter
