OK I met a woman in Florida we moved here too Nebraska where my family lives
I met her at 5 months pregnant the child is now 9 months old.
I signed his birth certificate (I am not the blood father) and I want too be in his life but she tore him from my arms said id never see him again what do I do request a paternity test ? Give up my rights ? I'm so confused I'm tired of the fighting I'm just losing whatever piece of will and sanity I had I need help so bad is it better too let the child go on in life without me who raised him so early?

And supposedly her fiancée wants too adopt him WHAT DO I DO??

And another thing please don't slander me in anyway understand where I come from don't just judge from your experiences alone all people are different please understand!

First, why do you think we would slander you? You appear to have done a very nice thing but taking responsibility for a child you knew wasn't yours. Do you think you did something bad? If so what?

As for giving up your rights, that is a choice you can make only if she marries the fiancée and he does petition to adopt.

So what you do now is fight. You get an attorney and petition for custody and visitation. Since you acknowledged paternity, you are the legal father and will remain so until a court says otherwise.

Now it is possible she will challenge paternity and she might win since you aren't the bio father. But this may backfire on her, because it means she will need to identify the bio father to complete the adoption.

I have to be honest, you have put yourself out on a limb here. Your chances of getting some level of custody are not great. A lawyer may even advise you to walk away. So your best bet is to consult one.
