Hey... I'm 13 and I don't know what to draw... Anyone have any good ideas?

I draw to distract me from other things and I love drawings. I'm into drawing cartoons if anyone knows some good ones to draw.

Oh and I like challenges so try make it hard but

Hmmmmm, how about design the best bedroom ever -- with a huge movie screen on one wall and a huge closet full of clothes and shoes. And what about an exercise alcove and a small McDonald's in one corner.

Yes, I began as a self taught artist and became pretty skilled with graphite (pencil) through exactly what you are doing. When I was your age I had the same problem. Something I did was hold the paper and draw and study and draw my opposite hand. You may find this hard at first depending on your skill level. However, as an art teacher I have found one of the most difficult things for anyone to draw are human hands. No one wants to do them. I became very good with hands and later in college art classes when others struggled I breezed through anything with hands. It was all that self teaching when I was bored and drawing my opposite hand. Besides the other hands sitting there, a ready subject, right? It can't go anywhere :-) So do it and post me a pic and I will give you some feedback :-)
