I'll be sixteen in one month... My boyfriend of seven months and I have been having sex for a few months now. We've had trouble with this before... About a week ago I went to the doctor to get put on birth control. The doctor told me to wait until my next period starts to start taking the pills. My next period should start around August sixth. About two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke while he was in the process of... well you know. Since then I've been dizzy, urinating a lot (when I urinate it burns), I've been having headaches a lot more and I haven't been able to sleep at night. I just need to know what is going on. Do I need to go back to the doctor? Any advice will be useful. Please no rude comments. Thank you in advance.

It is too early to be having any real signs, if you are having signs, they are not from pregnancy yet at 2 weeks ( very very rare and unlikely) first sign is normally a missed period.

So you wait and see, if you have not had a period by about Aug 13 to 15, then you do a pregnancy test.

Hun, I'm no expert but I would ask a doctor, and I would also wait till I'm 18 to have sex. Sorry, that wasn't the smartest choice

You do not have to be rude. I know it wasn't the smartest choice. I'm the one that has to live with my mistakes.

It would be WAYYYY too early for changes in the areolas. That doesn't happen until quite a bit further in pregnancy.

Unfortunately, you are now playing the waiting game and have to wait to see if your period comes.

Now for the lecture.

Christine977, I deliver babies for a living, that is my job 4 nights a week. Even though you may be on the pill, you can still get pregnant. Not only from professional experience, but personal as well, I got pregnant not once, but twice, using the pill PERFECTLY as directed AND a condom. So you see, there is no form of birth control that will keep you from getting pregnant aside from not having sex at all.

If you do end up getting pregnant, pregnancy in a 15 year old is extremely dangerous and would put you in the high risk category.
