I am a usa citizen receiving social security disability and local govt disablity early retirment pension are taxable in india . If I live in india for eleven months or one year or more than year
Please answer.thanks

On your U.S. return, the Indian pension is not taxable in the U.S. by treaty, and the Social Security by itself should not be taxable.

I am a US citizen getting social security disability benefits and New York city govt disability retd pension, wants to know, If I live in India around 11 months or more than one year in India, The USA social security disability benefits and New York city govt disability retd pension will TAX in India ? Please reply

The U.S.-India Tax Treaty provides that the Social Security (Article 20) and othr government pensions (Article 19) specifies that these pensions can only be taxed by the United States.
