My fiancée And I had unprotected sex on the second day of my period and he ejaculated inside of me. I normally only have my period for 3 days but it's lasting normal than usual. Could I be pregnant.

Since you both obviously aren't aware of this, but there is no safe period to have sex.. You very much can get pregnant during your period.

No, you cannot get pregnant while on your period. The blood the body is disposing of during your cycle is the lining of the uterus which was preparing to hold a fetus in the event an egg was fertilized. Once the menstrual cycle ends, approximately 2 weeks will pass and then the woman will ovulate (release and egg to potentially be fertilized). A woman can get pregnant from sex right before, or after ovulating because sperm can live up to 48 hours. If the woman does not get pregnant after she ovulates, in approximately another 2 weeks she will dispel during the menstrual cycle the blood from her uterus which was preparing to house a fetus (as I stated earlier). That's it. That is how the cycle works. Now go read about it and learn how your body works. It is important to understand your own body.

I meant it's lasting a lot longer than usual like I said I only have my period for 3 days. I'm every 28 days on the 28 th day for 3 days that's it! I'm going on my 5th day but it's very light!

As maddy said, its not possible to get pregnant on your period. Bleeding longer than normal makes it less likely that you are pregnant.

Let's say you did ovulate during your period because you have two uteri. (rare but possible) Once an egg is fertilized, it takes 7-10 days to implant, which is when your body produces pregnancy hormones and you are able to test and get an accurate result.

Summary: Maddy's suggestion of learning about cycles is a good one. Also, even if you were pregnant, it would be at least 7-10 days too early for you to even take a pregnancy test. Since this happened during your period, a typical 28 day cycle, you'll have to wait until you're late for your next period is due to take a home pregnancy test. In 7-14 days its more likely that you could be fertile, not pregnant.
