I went to visit my children after I recovered from a long illness. I was only there for a few days. My daughter and I went to the bar down stairs from her place and she met up with a male friend. Had a glass of wine and was tired so got her spare key and went to her apartment. She said she would be home in thirty minutes. I waited for her then finally feel asleep. My daughter never came home and left me in her apartment until 1:00 pm the next day. She has no television nothing to do!
I called my younger daughter to come get me and she would not wake up (it was 1:00 pm) to come and pick me up. I proceeded to pack my bags and check into a hotel until the next day and went home. I have text both of them to tell them how hurt I am but both have ignored my messages.
I am just floored!! Advice??

Maybe they don't know how to explain themselves, or too embarrassed to. Let it go for a bit.

I am failing to see what they did wrong. You seem very ungrateful, coming into your daughters home, and being angry that she has no TV?

She is an adult. She is allowed to go out at night and come home when she chooses.

I think you made the right decision to get a hotel instead of staying there, as you were not happy or comfortable there.

But I see no disrespect.
