I had my bellybutton pierced yesterday morning, and all today I've been laying on the couch and what not because I've been in pain. Not severe pain.. Just a ripping sensation around the holes. This morning, I woke up and I sanitized it and moved the ring around and that's when the pain began. It started to bleed because it felt as if I had ripped a scab off. The same thing happened tonight.. Besides using the cleaning package I was given, I've been using spray neosporin pain relief. Should I stop with that? What's another way to clean it and have it heal pretty quick? I have volleyball season coming in a about a week, and I'm hoping it's not as sore by then. It's a bit red around the holes. But not an infected kind of red.. I'm just super paranoid that something wrong is happening. Please let me know if everything I've described is normal! I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!

You should not move the piercing. You can clean it with antibacterial soap. Put it on a q-tip and clean around the holes but you don't need to move it. Belly buttons take a month or more to heal. Crust & puss looking stuff is normal for the first month. See a doctor if you get green puss. Try to keep your shirt up as much as possible to let it get air. Be careful with pants & searbelts.
