I am 18 and so is she.

I met this girl at a small get together a while ago. Just a week ago we went to a movie and it was all fine. 2 days later we hang at my place and I ask her out she says yes. We've done nothing more physically than making out.

Here's the problem. The same day I asked her out, later that night. I told her she's different from everyone I've been with before. Told her she's beautiful and that although I don't know everything about her I can tell she's an amazing girl. I did not say I love you. Next day I swing by and she asks if I could back off speaking so highly of her. I say sure and sorry. She says thanks for understanding. But I have a sick feeling that I may have ruined it before it really got started.

This girl is seriously the best I've had. We like the same things and compliment each other so well. Did I do anything wrong or is there any tips to keep myself calm with a girl that's probably above my level?

Did you do anything wrong? Maybe, maybe not.

Do what she says and back off talking like that for now.

Some women love hearing things like that, others don't. Sometimes, if you do it too soon, it makes you look like you're either desperate or just using lines on her. Just be cool with her and see how things go.
