All I remember is that I was with family traveling and visiting family around the states. This was the summer of 1981. I was sitting in the living room watching it on I think TBS or TNT. Do not know when the film was filmed.
Here we go. I only remember bits and pieces. I remember he rides a skate board around Paris (cause I see the Eiffel Tower). One scene he was just breaching the top of this curved bridge when he turns around and amazingly there are about 100 plus skate boards coming after him. As he is trying his best to evade them he hit the grass at the end of the bridge and falls. I'm not sure is they caught up with him. All I remember after was a girl that he like through out this movie helps him up. They go to buy a soda or something.
Later on I remember him in his room after this, and he was on his bed, when they cut away from him and, they show this poster of a blue (I think) King Kong on a building. Next thing I see it smiles at him then winks at him. Finally in the end the boy and girl are in his bed, I think they kiss then go to sleep.
Well its not much info to go on, yet I hope some one out there has seen this cute coming of age comedy. All I can say is it must have been from the early 70s or late 60s. Thanks for your help. Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa. William
