I just bought a new mini rider the man at store helped me get it ready to use battery charged gas & oil I am a 64 y/o widow lady with no help he was so nice I got it home it cranked right up after a few minutes it quit wouldn't turn over do I called Troy built he said check fuse it was OK but still wouldn't turn over next afternoon I tried again and it cranked right up I finished my yard yesterday I tried to cut grass the 2nd time same thing it rsn great for a little while then quit I checked fuse it looked good but I replaced with a smart fuse to be sure still wouldn't turn over I think it's either in the ignition or safety feature can I disconnect safety features ? If so how do I do it the Troy built said take it to shop it had to be fuse or battery its not either one I can't get it to a shop and shouldn't have to it's new I just wanted a mower I could handle by myself if it sets up a day or so it usually cranks but who wants to take 2 or 3 days to cut a yard any subjection ?

Hi,
Since it is new, it is under warranty. Get the dealer to fix it since it not your fault.
Peace,

I had a problem with mine. The gas tank is higher than the Carburator and it would fill the cylinder with fuel and would not start. Sounded like a dead Battery. I had Steeles True Value in Tannersville, install a shut off valve before the Carburator. So when I shut it off, I close the valve and open it when I start it. It's been working fine since. The Mfg will not help under the warrany. Hope the helps you
