A new girl transferred to my building a week ago. She looks around my age and I really find her attractive. I haven't been able to have a conversation alone with her yet. The only time we spoke was with another female co worker present. For some reason I was too shy to talk to her directly. However I did notice that she starred at me directly the whole time until I found the nerve to ask her if she got the hang of her job yet. The only sign I have to go by is the constant subtle stares she gives me almost every time I walk in the office to ask someone a question. I know staring is a force of habit when a door opens and someone walks in. Only the way she does it is she will look initially when I walk in but a I am walking back out I will catch give me another look all the time. I've also noticed her staring at me in the lunch room while I was talking to one of my work buddies about sports. One day she was in the cubical net door to my buddy and I saw her laugh and smile silently as I made a joke. My last question is how can I tell if she is single without asking around. I over heard her on the phone one day called someone hunny. It didn't sound like she was talking to a boyfriend or husband because she was loud and her tone seemed not quite right. I hope you can help and give me some much needed advice.

Ok, this is really JR HIGH right ? And you are making up the work?

You can't tell if they are maried or not by looking, Men stopped branding their wife's some time ago. You can't tell that she likes you, she may see you staring and think you are a stalker.

You will have to talk to her or waste your life wondering what if.
