My air conditioner is an upright that sits in the window. It's an LG brand and it currently drips water to the outside. However, my landlord says I need to install a drainage tube of some sort because the water its affecting the building as it splashes into the bucket. The A/C didn't come with any sort of drainage tube. I installed it myself. So now I need to figure out a way to attach a tube of some sort. I have no idea what to buy or how to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Your a/c came with a black nipple. Take the nipple to home depot and get a clear hose that fits it. The hose should be long enough to keep the water away from the building.

Hi!

Thanks so much for your reply. Where would I find the "black nipple"? I don't have any extra parts. Is it located somewhere on the unit? I looked and can't seem to locate one.

If you got your A/C new it should have come in the same bag with the instructions
And the manual. If you got it used, it could have been lost check with the manufacturer on line or call them. They might send you one at no charge. You might be able to get a manual on line. The manual will tell you where to find the location to install the nipple. Every A/C unit is different.
Make sure you get your AC model # and brand before searching .
Hope this helps
