How can I get into options without the aid of a broker? Where do I go to buy an option? I had a broker who handled the options for me but he was a crook as far as I am concerned. Would like a "Do-it-Myself" information from start to finish.

Any online brokerage (https://www.schwab.com/public/schwab/investing) should be able to set you up to trade options.

ProTip: Options investing is a good way to go broke. You not only have to be right about a stock, but also your timing has to be right as well.

Best of luck in your investing,

I have never lost so much money in my life as when I fooled with options.

My friend lost his entire $80,000 inheritance while trading in Options, and he thought he had it all figured out with technical charting.

3 for 3 sounds like options are risky. They paint it as very easy money. Guess I will think very seriously of taking a pass . Being

Can you make money, yes, can you get a option call, where the price drops below your purchase price.

I lost , lets say 100s of thouands over one weekend when Gold dropped from 800 dollars a ounce to about 300 dollars in the 1980s , Now the two years before I made 10s of thousands of dollars
