I have a WEEEDEATER FEATHERLITE XT260 trimmer and has recently encountered a problem with the line feeder head. It no longer revolves hence no cuttingThe engine starts OK and the throttle also works correctly. However the line head doesn't turn at all. I'd like to get in touch with someone who might be able to assist me with this issue. I took the unit into a local small engine repair shop and they took one look and told me to buy a new one since the price has come down. However this is not a solution as far as I'm concerned...

The guys at the shop are not off the mark. You can buy that wacker for around $69 and your drive shaft is broken. Replacing that one part could be 50% the cost of a new wacker, not a good investment
