I am a former major division I football player. While playing college football I sustained a shoulder injury upon which time I made my entire coaching staff aware of my injury. I was examined by the team doctor and told I was fine. I continued to play and practice with my injured shoulder not knowing how serious my injury was. Every so often I would complain about shoulder pain but just like the first time I would be told I was fine and put right back on the field. In 2007 I was lucky enough to get a chance to play in the NFL. Once the team received the results of my full physical they told me I could not play and would need to have surgery. I contacted my college for them to give me the segury and they denied me. Chasing my dream of being a professional football player I paid for the surgery and rehab myself but never played another down of football. Today both my shoulders are injured and based on the scare tissue in my shoulders both injuries date back to when I played collge football. I am almost certain I will have to have at least 2 more surgeries. I live in extreme pain. Had I known the seriousness of my injuries I would have had the surgery while I was in college. If I can prove my case do I have a lawsuit?
