If you are not a normal smoker ( of illegal devil spawned pot) OK joking guys, but if you normally don't smoke it, one joint should not show up.

Actually, it will stay in your system for exactly 6 weeks. No matter how much you smoke or how often. The chemical bonds to the fat stored in your cells and it will remain there for 6 weeks. If you wish to pass a drug test sooner than 6 weeks, try a combination of the herb Goldenseal and drinking cranberry juice, these are usually fairly effective at speeding up the body's detox time.

Smokey,

Out of your system for what purpose? The key to your question isn't the last time you smoked but how much and how frequently you smoked leading up to that point.

I have not smoked for 3 months and I smoked 1 joint with 3 other people I've took 2 at home drug tests and past them both... I haft to take one at a lab of a job that I didn't know I was going to get... So if you think I can pass it that will put me at ease... Thanks

I assume it's a urine test? If so you should be entirely clear at that time span. The OTC tests that you used operate on the same principle as the screening method that will be used for the pre-employment test. Having tested twice is a strong indication of the result you will obtain on the lab test.

Even if you were a heavy user up until 3 months ago it is unlikely any THC or other cannabinoids are in system at this time and even in the unlikely event there is residual THC (very unlikely) that it would rise to the level of detection (50 ng).

You can set aside whether THC or COOH, is out of your system entirely. The vast majority of these metabolites are excreted within a few hours to about 3 days. There may be some residual of the metabolites lurking around in fatty tissue but not enough, based on what you smoked, to be detectable in a drug screen.

Infrequent users do not accumulate sufficient quantities of THC/COOH to register long term. Once again, the best personal info available to you is the result of the OTC tests that you took. My information is general whereas that result is specific to you. Same test, same reagent as the lab will use.
