I was convicted of a felony DUI in November of 2008. I did all my classes and have never violated any terms of my probation. My fines and restitution are paid in full and I am up to date on my cost of supervision. I was sentenced to 2+ 6 for a total of 8 years. I want to terminate probation early to gain partial custody of my child who lives in another county where I'm not allowed to travel. It is also hindering my employment advancement and I want to know if a letter will help or hurt my cause. I understand I've been given a gift to not be in prison so save it if you are going to tell me I'm lucky. I have had a breathalyzer in my car since getting my license again and have NEVER failed it. Please give me advice on how or if to proceed
