My lennox hvac unit won't keep running. 2 weeks ago it tripped a breaker. I reset the breaker and it ran fine till yesterday. I pull a small capacitor and had it tested. I replaced it and turned on the unit. Nothing happened so I looked for a reset button. I found a red button connected to a copper tube. I pushed it and the unit turned on and ran for about an hour. Once the house cooled and the unit shut of it did not come on again. I pushed the reset button again and the compressor kicked on but not the fan. I took the motor out and had it tested. Was told it works but is not pulling full amperage. Was told it should pull 1.3 and is pulling 1.1 I put it back in and the same thing. Hit the reset ran for less than an hour and now it won't kick on again. Any help as to what my problem is would be greatly appreciated. It appears the "reset" switch I keep hitting may be a high pressure switch? If that helps any.

Sounds like you need to replace the condenser fan motor AND buy a new capacitor for the new motor. Never use a old capacitor from one old motor to a new motor. Make sure the fan motor is sized properly for the unit and turns the proper rotation. Until you get it fixed correctly quit hitting the reset of further damage is possible.
