Im a high school drop out in ca, I dropped out my freshmen and I now want to go back in what would be my senior year. My friend says by law they have to pass me and put me as a senior? Is this true? Cus I really want to go back to school! Please help!

Of course not, your friends using drugs or something. You would have to earn all of the credits needed to graduate. You would have to pass all of the classed for each year to earn the min number of credits ( or hours) needed.
Your best chance is to go after your GED at this point.
With that said, I am proud that you see the need to improve yourself and get your education.

As a teacher in CA, I will give you this advice: Call the school district where you live. You will need to let the registrar know your situation. If you still live where you went to high school, you can go to a continuation school. (It may have a different name depending on where in CA you live). Any school district can have your records sent to them. They will see what classes you need and enroll you in a program with small class sizes and teachers who want to help you graduate. You need to be prepared to go year-round! You may not graduate on time, but with a lot of effort from you and support from the continuation school, you will graduate! The teachers are awesome and care about you at these schools! Good luck and start calling the school district office!
