On Friday I took a total of 75 mg of oxycodone and on Saturday I took 45 mg of oxycodone. Today is MOnday and I have to take a lab urine test by 4:30 this afternoon for the courts. Do you think I'll fail the test. I'm afraid

How did you determine the "mg of oxycodone" that you took? Particularly, was that the mg of the tablet or proportion of oxycodone content?

Oxycodone is seldom detected in a standard (5 panel) drug test. It can be tested for by an expanded (usually 10 panel) test. I would expect that it would not be detected by the former and at the time interval noted would be detected by the latter. The more often you use, such as before the time you noted, the higher the likelihood of detection.

It probably comes down to which test is performed.

The 75 mg I took on Friday was the first time I used in 60 days and then of course I took the 45 mg on Saturday about 3pm. It is a 10 panel test

10 panels are designed to detect the semi-synthetics such as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, etc. So the inherent capability is there. Whether your dosage at that time span will show up is anyone's guess. Oxy does have a short detection window, about 24 hours, and the average screen has a false negative rate around 15%. The biggest problem in testing for Oxycodone is non-detection.

Thank you so much for your response. I just went and took the test and decided to just be honest about what I did and when I did it so hopefully when I appear in front of the judge tomorrow my honesty will have a positive effect on any sanctions he may impose.

Again Thanks

Overall that was probably a wise decision. Hope that it is to your long-term benefit. Good luck.
