I was living with my aunt and her husband for nearly 2years they were means of family support when I was trying to get my daughter out of child protection I got my daughter back and my daughter and I went to live there when I was living there they tried to take over and everything I did was wrong nothing I did was right with my daughter
In November of last year my daughter and I went to visit my step grandmother who I have considered my real grandmother since I was a little girl we were having a great time we wanted to stay for Xmas my aunts husband chucked a mental so I went that's it I can't take this anymore so I decided to stay and live with my Nan that's when they turned nasty on me my aunt decided to slander me on Facebook calling me for everything I was never going to stop them from seeing my daughter until my aunt did that and was ringing everyone in my Famliy telling them not to trust me Iam a lier a thief and a con woman my family got sick of them they every one of them told them not to ring them anymore and lose there numbers and remove themselves from there lives now there trying to take me to court for visitation rights to my daughter she is my daughters great aunt does she have rights they also think if it wasn't for them I would never have got my daughter back they used to throw that up in my face all the time and there saying if you don't let them see my daughter they will air certain family matters what do they mean I have nothing to hide I've told everybody everything.

I don't know of any area that specifically allows aunts right. However, some places do take in account a bond between a child and an adult. The fact that your aunt may have bonded with your daughter and been a significant part of her life for 2 years MIGHT give her some rights. But given that your family thinks they are nuts and have cut off ties with them, I doubt if a court will award them any.

But in general, no , they have no rights, they may try to claim them in court, but I don't see much chance of it
